The Labour Party’s governorship candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has won his first local government area, Amuwo-Odofin, according to results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The results for Amuwo-Odofin LGA are as follows:

• Labour Party (LP): 34,860
• All Progressives Congress (APC): 17,576
• Peoples Democratic Party (PDP): 1,809
• New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP): 82
• Social Democratic Party (SDP): 11
